Germany: Book Signing Event for 3 New Works by Kurdish Writer Sabri Rasoul

The General Union of Kurdish Writers and Journalists in Syria, in collaboration with the Writers’ Union of Syrian Kurdistan, organized a book signing event for three books by the Kurdish writer Sabri Rasoul.
The event took place in the German city of Essen on Sunday, May 25, 2025, and the ceremony included a cultural seminar attended by numerous Kurdish writers and intellectuals, along with a variety of questions and remarks from the audience.
The three books, published in Arabic, cover topics in literature, criticism, culture, translation, and short stories.
On the occasion, Kurdish writer Ibrahim al-Youssef commented on his Facebook page: “I congratulate my dear friend Sabri Rasoul on his triple cultural achievement in the fields of criticism, translation and thought.
He has enriched these areas with three valuable books, which constitute a significant addition to Kurdish and Arabic libraries alike.” He added, ‘The seminar was a special cultural occasion, with a distinguished audience in attendance to celebrate these publications.’
