Masrour Barzani Praises Jordan’s Support for the Kurdistan Region

The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region and the Consul General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Erbil held a meeting.

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani stated: “On the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission, today we welcomed Fouad al-Majali, the Consul General of Jordan, in the Kurdistan Region.”

During the meeting, Prime Minister Barzani thanked the Consul General for strengthening bilateral relations and wished him continued success in his future duties.

Masrour Barzani praised the friendly relations between the Kurdistan Region and Jordan, as well as the support of His Majesty King Abdullah II for the Kurdistan Region.

For his part, the Jordanian Consul General expressed his pride in the achievements of the Kurdistan Region, especially the reforms implemented by the ninth cabinet across various sectors, and also thanked the concerned parties within the KRG for their cooperation and coordination, which contributed to the success of his mission.
