Israeli Incursion in Quneitra Countryside Amid Heavy Warplane Activity
Welat TV – Erbil
An Israeli military force has advanced into Syrian territory across several villages in the countryside of Quneitra, coinciding with intensive activity by Israeli warplanes over southern Syria.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), on Friday, December 12, 2025, an Israeli force consisting of eight military vehicles entered Syrian territory at dawn, moving from the Adnaniya point toward the villages of Umm al-Azam and Ruwaihina, passing through Rasm al-Halabi, al-Mushairfa, and Umm Batina in the Quneitra countryside.
The agency added that the incursions coincided with low-altitude flights by Israeli warplanes over Quneitra province, without providing further details.
These movements come amid increased Israeli military activity along the border strip inside Syrian territory following the collapse of the Assad regime in December 2024, heightening concern and anticipation among local residents.
