The Hasaka Postal Directorate held a written examination on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with the participation of 297 applicants as part of a recruitment process aimed at selecting successful candidates for employment in the institution’s branches across the governorate.

Rashed al-Jaryan, the official tasked with managing the affairs of the Hasaka Postal Directorate, told the Hasaka Media Directorate that the written test was conducted within the framework of a competition announced by the Syrian Postal Corporation. The examination was held at the Faculty of Law campus of the Euphrates University branch in Hasaka.

Al-Jaryan explained that a total of 5,600 candidates applied nationwide, including 451 applicants competing for positions at the Hasaka Postal Directorate in the first and second employment categories. Of those, 297 candidates sat for the exam, while 154 were absent. He added that the questions were computerized and standardized across all Syrian governorates, with examinations taking place simultaneously nationwide.

The questions were prepared by specialists and covered a range of topics, including general knowledge, the Basic Law for State Employees, and information related to the work of the Syrian Postal Corporation.

One of the applicants stated that registration was carried out through links published on social media platforms, as well as through the official channels of the Ministry of Administrative Development, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, and the website of the Syrian Postal Corporation, for the purpose of applying for the announced vacancies.
